Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Montana Decor. Because we carry a mix of items — some shipped directly from our Missoula store and others fulfilled by our supplier partners — shipping timelines and methods vary by product. This policy explains what to expect so there are no surprises after you order.


1. How We Fulfill Orders

Montana Decor uses two fulfillment methods depending on the item:

Each product page will indicate the fulfillment method where applicable. If you order items from both fulfillment types in one order, your items may arrive in separate shipments. You will receive individual tracking numbers for each shipment.


2. Processing Times

Processing time is the time it takes to prepare your order before it ships. This varies by item type:

Processing times do not include transit time. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.


3. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states). At this time we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international addresses. If you are located outside our shipping area and are interested in a product, please contact us at Mahri@montanadecor.com and we will do our best to assist.


4. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. You will see your exact shipping cost before completing your purchase — there are no surprise fees after checkout. Orders over $200 qualify for free standard shipping.


5. Freight & Oversized Items

Furniture, large rugs, and other oversized items may ship via freight carrier rather than standard parcel services like UPS or USPS. If your order requires freight shipping, you will be notified at checkout and may be contacted by the freight carrier to schedule a delivery window.


Please note the following for freight deliveries:

  • Freight deliveries are typically curbside unless white-glove delivery is arranged separately

  • Someone must be present to receive and sign for the delivery

  • Inspect your item carefully before signing — note any visible damage on the delivery receipt

  • If damage is present, photograph it immediately and contact us within 48 hours at Mahri@montanadecor.com


6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. If your order contains items from multiple fulfillment sources, you will receive separate tracking emails for each shipment.


Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to update after your shipping confirmation is sent. If your tracking number is not updating after 3 business days, please contact us and we’ll look into it.


7. Delivery Issues

Montana Decor is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, natural disasters, or other circumstances outside our control. Once an order has been handed to the carrier, delivery timelines are subject to the carrier’s operations.


If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package:

  • Check around your property, with neighbors, or with your building management

  • Wait 24 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered a day early

  • Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number

  • If the issue is unresolved, contact us at Mahri@montanadecor.com and we will work with you to find a resolution


For orders damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.


8. Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Montana Decor is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout. If you realize you have entered the wrong address, contact us immediately at Mahri@montanadecor.com. We will do our best to correct the address before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once fulfillment has begun.


Orders returned to us due to an undeliverable address may be reshipped at the customer’s expense.


9. In-Store Pickup

Local customers are welcome to purchase online and pick up their order in store at our Missoula, Montana location. Select “Local Pickup” at checkout if this option is available for your items. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation when you come in.


In-store pickup is only available for items we carry in our physical location. Dropship items from our supplier partners are not available for in-store pickup.
